LeatherQuestCA, led by Sybil Holiday and VG Smith, is a course of advanced trainings in leather traditions and history, D/s relationships, SM and sex techniques, and leather community and spirituality.
Integrating BDSM teachings of body, mind, and spirit in a program of individual discovery, LeatherQuest is designed to be taken as a full curriculum and lasts for 18 months, one weekend a month. Each weekend has a different topic and instructor, integrating lectures, dyads, hands-on exercises, and demonstrations.
Previous speakers have included nationally known instructors such as Deborah Addington, Guy Baldwin, Joseph Bean, Master Skip Chasey, Cleo Dubois, Dossie Easton, Fakir, Bill Henkin, Sybil Holiday, Robert Lawrence, Midori, Gayle Rubin, Slavemaster, and Carol Queen.
The once a month weekend structure allows a uniquely intimate and in-depth exploration of advanced topics. Graduates of the Journeyman II and III Academies provide ongoing leadership, coordination of the program, and mentoring throughout.
